50 Happy Things About 2024
Let’s call 2024 a transformational year. If 2024 were summed up in a tarot spread for me, you’d see “bad” tarot cards like Death, the Tower, and the Devil. After all, this was the year that I lost my grandmother, my job, and the certainty of my home as my apartment is slated for demolition.
As a counterpoint to all the heaviness, grief, loss, and transformation underfoot, I decided to, inspired by Gala Darling, create a list of all the magical and wonderful things that happened this year.
I hope something from this list inspires you to see the good in your own life, even amidst turmoil, and I’d encourage you to make a list of your own!
I got engaged in front of Cinderella’s Castle 💍
Saw Taylor Swift from the floor with my little sis in matching outfits 👯♀️
I learned to embroider tote bags with beads ✂️
I picked out a stunning wedding dress 💃
Went to Disney World for the first time ever 🤩
Went to Disneyland for Halloweentime 🎃
Lived like an Angelino in Los Angeles for three weeks ☀️
Read Tarot Cards at a fancy hotel for the whole Halloween week💰
Wore my massive fluffy white trapper hat in the snow ☃️
Got a blue lemonade at the Hello Kitty Cafe 💙
Went to Gideon’s and ate massive 1.5 lb cookies 🍪
